Like many of you, I tend to leave my skin care to chance. I’m always looking for the best products I can get my hands on and these are the ones I love in my life. Honestly, I wanted a lot of money and I didn’t want to bother with too many products or procedures or steps. I want to deal with my skin care issues—many of which revolve around signs of aging and skin cancer risk—and then get out of the shower and get on with my day.

So my skincare has changed quite a bit over the past year as I’ve been seeing my dermatologist, trying new products recommended by a friend, trying new brands recommended by other influencers, and looking for answers to some of my concerns. .

Let me take a brief look at a skin problem that I try to solve with my morning skin care routine. I was 58 (tomorrow!) and had a basal cell carcinoma that I had Mohs surgery for in November.
