Without a doubt, the most common question I get is my skincare routine. I don’t want to list all the products I use, so this post is long overdue. Instead, I like to explain why I use each product.
Best Skin Care Regimen For Aging Skin
When I was about 25, I went to an exceptional (and inexpensive) esthetician. It was then that I was introduced to medical skin care. Since then, my skin has been ageless. At the age of 31, It looks pretty much the same as it was back then (maybe even better). I’m not saying this to brag; But to help you understand that using good products can make a huge difference and it’s totally worth it.

If you think it’s the same as your skin, you’re wrong. Your skin is different no matter what your genetics. Maybe 25-30% is as little as that, but the rest is up to you. The skin doesn’t look like it is due to genetics (because of desire); But that’s because I’ve been following a very solid skin care routine for at least five years straight.
One thing I would like to point out is that a good skin care product does not necessarily mean that it is expensive. There are many products on the market now that are at the same price level or more than medical grade products, but they are not backed by proven medical science. See La Mer for example. Although La Mer is basically the same as the Nivea cream. It costs about $300 more. Be sure to research a product before making a purchase: Whether going to a dermatologist (your best option) or researching the information yourself, you should do your due diligence.
Another barrier to entry that people hit me with when I talk about the skin care products I use is “I can’t.” Spoiler alert: you can. (1) because it can be prioritized and found a way to deal with it over time; (2) Because pharmaceutical grade products are powerful.
Because medical grade products are so powerful; Unless it’s a medical product, you can use a much smaller product than you might think. often When you look at how long it takes, You may find that medical products are more financially manageable than you first thought. If you don’t think you’re wasting money on something for no reason,

The number one place to buy skin care is Dermstore. Unlike places like Sephora and Nordstrom, They carry medical products from lines like Skinceuticals. They also have a great rewards program and subscription program where you can automatically send your favorite articles at a frequency you choose. Depending on the brand, you may even get discounts when you sign up.
Another regular place to go for skin care is Sephora. I love Sephora’s rewards program, especially when you reach the Rouge level. I try to buy as many of my products from them as possible because I get unlimited free makeup applications.
My pick for Korean beauty products is Soko Glam. You can also find my detailed k-beauty explanation and review by clicking here.
Double cleanse every morning to make sure to remove all impurities from your skin. Double cleansing involves first cleansing the skin with an oil-based cleanser and a second cleansing with pure water. Oiliness Sebum SPF Degreasing is important as it removes pollutants, etc. Cleaning with a water-based cleanser removes water-based residues such as sweat and dirt.

Do you really need to clean it up in the morning if you made it the night before? Yes, I asked. I remove my makeup at night so I don’t have to cleanse again in the morning, but that’s so wrong. While you sleep, your skin produces sebum, toxins, Sweat, etc. secret. You (hopefully) have PM products like PM-specific retinol that need to be removed before using your AM-specific products.
If you don’t have time, clean it at least once. In an ideal world, I cleanse twice every morning with my Clarisonic, which my dermatologist thinks is absolutely essential. I noticed a noticeable difference when I didn’t clean my face with the Clarisonic. If you don’t already have a Clarisonic, I recommend getting one. Click here for what I recommend.
The oil cleanser I use is Banila Co. Cleansing solution. It’s incredibly nourishing and one of my favorite skincare steps. This exclusive version is for dry skin and uses royal jelly extract to deeply hydrate with ginseng extract in tablet form to prevent migraines.
The cleanser itself is also very cool. It’s a solid balm in the container, but once you put it on your skin, it melts into the ultimate oil. Nothing calls it a cult favorite. Click here to see the latest prices.
How To Start Your Anti Aging Skincare Routine Today
The water-based cleanser I use is Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Cleanser. It’s a gentle cleanser that strips your skin of its natural oils – which I think is very important. All skin types can use this cleanser, but it’s especially suitable for sensitive and dry skin like mine. Click here to see the latest prices.
If I travel, I like the Neogen Real Fresh Tea Cleansing Stick. Click here to see the latest prices.
The second step in your morning skin care routine is to exfoliate (not necessarily every day). Exfoliating is incredibly important because if you don’t apply it properly, your skincare won’t absorb it. I hate missing out on expensive skin care. So I exfoliate regularly.
Exfoliants come in two types: physical and chemical. Physical peels are physical scrubs that you can feel on your skin using a rough texture to remove dead skin cells. Chemical exfoliants are things that don’t feel physical, but use things like acids to chemically exfoliate. Both are fine – it’s just a personal preference.

The exfoliator I use is SkinCeuticals Micro-exfoliating scrub. It uses ultra-soft microbeads that won’t damage your skin. Moisturizing and suitable for all skin types. Click here to see the latest prices.
My favorite synthetic peel is Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta® Universal Daily Peel. It’s a two-pack of anti-aging and brightening soaks. It only takes two minutes and provides powerful yet gentle exfoliation and anti-aging benefits. They are marketed as daily and are suitable for daily use, but I use them a few times a week. You can also use it at night if you want – it’s up to you. Click here to see the latest prices.
The third step in my AM skincare routine is rejuvenating. When we were young, the bad alcoholic beverages that spread in drugstores, Toners get a bad rap in America because of all the harsh toners—but it’s not toner I’m talking about here.
Whether you use a toner or not, it’s very important to cleanse your face and not leave your skin looking dull. Instead, you should apply your next product right away to avoid dehydrating your skin. At this point, I recommend taking toner. This is what I do myself.

Why use toner? I hope it doesn’t come as a surprise when I say that tap water is pretty disgusting. It doesn’t cleanse and contains chlorine and minerals, so it’s good to remove after cleansing the face. This is where toner comes in.
Toner can be thought of as a skin care primer. They create a pure base, cleansers, It removes residue from exfoliants or tap water, rebalances your skin’s pH level, and prepares your skin to more effectively absorb the products you’re about to use.
The toner I use is Son & Park Beauty Water. lavender water Contains rose water and orange extract to hydrate and prepare your skin to absorb the next product. It gently exfoliates with willow bark and papaya extract, leaving it soft and clear. Excellent for all skin types. Click here to see the latest prices.
