Bald Female Hairstyles

Bald Female Hairstyles – Coco Chanel said: “A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.” Muwa spoke the truth because for many women, cutting their hair brings freedom and liberation.

For women of color, it’s especially difficult to choose this freedom because our culture romanticizes long, thick hair. When you tell your mom, aunt, or cousin that you’re planning to cut your hair, they act like someone’s dying. For decades, we’ve been taught that our hair represents our crown. Cutting your hair means losing your glory.

Well, it’s over now, because it’s a new year, and we have the right to decide what our crowns are complaining about. From rocking 4K hair to a buzz cut, the choice is yours.

Beautiful Black Women Proudly Rocking Bald Heads And Low Cuts

Has to be one of the boldest moves a woman with a muted complexion can make. Fortunately, there are some brave and beautiful ladies who live unapologetically and wear their hustle with confidence and lightness – these are their stories.

I decided to cut my hair in the summer of 2017 because my hair was so damaged and I was so tired of my normal look. I also wanted to challenge myself and part my hair, because at that time my hair was part of my identity. As soon as I cut my hair, I immediately fell in love with myself and felt like a redefined person. I felt free to be completely honest. I broke gender norms and embraced courage.

My shaved head is a reminder that beauty lies within and does not depend on the length of your hair.

Hair is just an accessory, some people choose to stand out more than others. Hair is not a necessity for me; It’s more than costume jewelry. No matter how people groom their hair, purring cats should not only associate with humans. A buzz cut is a unisex hairstyle.

Attractive Short Hairstyles For Black Women: Illustrated Guide

The first time was in July 2012 and I haven’t looked back since. My hair was a good length and I was always told “You’re not cute without hair” or “Your hair is your business”. I’ve never understood how hair defines a person and I felt sick to my stomach when I heard it, so I went to the nearest barber and told him to do it.

I recently dyed my hair gray after being blonde for a few months and it magically turned pink… I have no idea or scientific explanation for it (laughs). But I decided to embrace the change and take ownership of my beautiful pink noise.

@tumi_moliko Living as a young black woman in South Africa, I have had to find creative ways to redefine noises that best reflect my personality.

I dye my hair, shave letters into my hair, and maybe add glitter if I’m in the mood; Or sometimes I wake up and do what my hair does best, shrink into the little mirror above my head. I used to grab every accessory and makeup product to wear to make up for the lack of hair on my head, but now I’ve learned the true essence of my frizzy hair.

First I had to love my new self, and then I confidently let the world see the true element of my skull. Having my buzz from there was so exhausting, but so impactful in my life.

When I was in high school, I learned that cutting your hair is brave because judgment is inevitable. Overcoming my fear of judgment has empowered me in many aspects of life. I shaved my head when I was 16 because I didn’t want my hair to be seen as an extension of my personality. I was known as the bob cut girl and was constantly complimented on my hair.

Hair is praised in society and discriminated against in many South African schools today. On the other hand, a woman without hair (whether it’s by choice or not) is judged by so many people in society because it goes against the norm.

In 10th grade, I started to feel like my identity was no longer my own. I now felt like my identity consisted of physical things, including the strands growing out of my scalp. Then I decided to be brave and stood in front of the mirror, picked up the clips and pulled out all my hair. Since then I have felt strong, free and truly me. Owning my buzz means reclaiming my true self. I wouldn’t change the experience for the world.

@ShayGlam00 I chose to cut my hair and feel confident.

Art is what I do. Now cutting my hair is a great look for me. Before I decided to cut my hair, I felt uninspired. I was stressed, couldn’t concentrate and was very depressed. Nothing seemed to be happening and I didn’t know what to do. I felt like I was wasting my talent, I felt like I wasn’t good at it, I lost myself and I stopped thinking about what I love. I had to get rid of this doubt and get out of this mindset. I’ve been through some tough times in my life and one thing that has always been with me is my hair. When I was sad, inspired, stressed, happy, motivated, depressed, my hair was there.

Art has always been a way for me to express myself. I’ve always been brave with hair dyes and other types of creations, but this time I wanted to cut it all off. So, as I slept, the night before I cut it, I sorted through all the feelings, all the doubts, and all the memories that were holding me back from being great. I woke up that morning feeling better and determined to do better and live a better life. With each shave I almost felt like a new person.

So now every time I cut my hair, I rid my body, mind and spirit of all negative vibes and start over. I dyed my hair a new color for that.

Black Women With Buzz Cuts

You must be a strong and courageous woman. By believing in myself, I will have fashion in my life. Now my room isn’t the only place I feel safe, I’m safe everywhere I go! Instead of looking at my phone or walking away, I smile back at people who are looking at me. Honey, I own every room I go to now.

I first decided to cut all my hair off in 2009, to get rid of all the “good hair, bad hair” ideals I had grown up with.

I know I’m not the only black girl who grew up saying “I have America in my family” to make my husband feel somehow better because I’m “mixed”.

Since then, I’ve cut and grown my hair many times, but I love being bald for the first time! I enjoy being noticed when I walk into a room and people are amazed that my confidence is so strong that I don’t hide behind a bunch of hair. I serve face! I even started an Instagram page @baldgirlmagic and #BaldGirlMagic #BaldGirlMagic to celebrate beautiful bald women like myself. Whether you’ve lost your hair due to chemo or choose to shave it off, we all belong in this really cool club!

It Takes A Thick Skin To Rock A Bald Head’: Meet The Women Embracing Hair Loss

Six years ago, when I cut my hair for the first time, I had no idea how people would look at me. Not having hair allowed me to bring out the best in me and gave me the confidence I needed to go through life at full speed.

I am proud of my wife and I am a beautiful woman. I really don’t see myself growing out of it!

It’s been about 8 years since I cut my hair, I cut it at 20 and cut it at 21 because braids are expensive (laughs). I just wanted to try something new and finally be of legal drinking age.

My reason for cutting it is not to save money. I felt so free, so open! I had nothing to hide behind.
